Circle of Deceit
single channel video installation with rotating projector, 4 channel sound 2024
Catharsis:
A. a purification or purgation that brings about spiritual renewal or release from tension
B. elimination of a complex by bringing it to consciousness and affording it expression
Thousands of protesters circle the audience, breaking a circle of deceitful political manipulation. A large video projection circles the gallery, the audience's shadows mingle with the protestors as audience and protest unite.
